Climate Action Program

Program Themes:

Climate Education: We provide Arab youth with the knowledge and understanding they need to take action on climate change. Our workshops, webinars, and educational activities equip them with the tools they need to make informed decisions that impact their communities positively.

Climate Diplomacy: We help Arab youth understand the international policy and decision-making processes related to climate action, providing them with resources to engage policymakers and advocate for climate-friendly policies and regulations.

Green Jobs and Innovation: We encourage Arab youth to explore and pursue careers in the green economy. We support their efforts to develop and implement innovative solutions to climate challenges and provide them with job training and career development opportunities.

Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR): We help Arab youth understand the risks and impacts of climate-related disasters, providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to prepare for and respond to these events in their communities.

Green Lifestyle: We encourage Arab youth to adopt sustainable and environmentally-friendly lifestyles, including through education and training on topics such as energy efficiency, waste reduction, and green transportation.

Youth Engagement: We facilitate connections and collaboration among Arab youth interested in climate action. We create online platforms and in-person events where they can share ideas and experiences.

Activities:

Climate education workshops and webinars: We conduct a series of workshops and webinars for Arab youth on topics such as the science of climate change, the impacts of climate change on the Arab region, and how individuals and communities can take action to reduce their carbon footprint and mitigate the effects of climate change.

Climate action projects: We encourage Arab youth to develop and implement their climate action projects in their communities. Our support and resources help them plan and carry out these projects successfully.

Advocacy and policy engagement: We provide Arab youth with the tools and resources they need to engage with policymakers and advocate for climate-friendly policies and regulations.

Networking and collaboration: We facilitate connections and collaboration among Arab youth interested in climate action. We create online platforms and in-person events where they can share ideas and experiences.

Media and outreach: We use social media and other platforms to raise awareness about the importance of climate action among Arab youth and showcase the efforts and impact of youth-led climate action projects.
