The United Nations commemorates International Youth Day 2023

The United Nations and the countries of the world commemorate International Youth Day 2023, corresponding to August 12 of each year, with the aim of reminding the world of the role of youth and the obligations of countries towards them, as they are the backbone of nations and the foundation of their cultural and social projects, as well as being the group most in need of attention due to the sensitivity of the stage in which they live, which is full of energy that, if done well, exploiting it would have contributed to the renaissance of peoples and countries.

According to the latest statistics issued by UNESCO, the number of young people around the world is approximately 1.8 billion young men and women between the ages of 10 and 24 years, which is the largest number of young people in the world ever reached.

From this standpoint, the Arab Youth Sustainable Development Network (AYSDN) has undertaken to be a youth voice that believes in the importance of promoting green leadership and empowering youth skills in various fields, especially the field of Sustainable Development. This is evident in its continuous participation in climate conferences and summits and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, which are held every year organized by the United Nations. and its partners around the world.

On this occasion, the Arab Youth Sustainable Development Network (AYSDN), represented by its President, Eng. Tariq Hassan, and all its members and volunteers, extends its congratulations to young people around the world and wishes them years full of giving and positive change.
