Partnerships and Memberships of the AYSDN : A Path to Achieving Common Goals

The Arab Youth Sustainable Development Network (AYSDN)  represents a vital platform that brings together youth from different Arab countries under one umbrella, with the aim of supporting efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. Through its diverse partnerships and membership, the network has become a driving force that contributes to empowering youth and promoting collective action to achieve sustainable development. Since the establishment of AYSDN in 2018, AYSDN has implemented a serval programs , projects , capacity building sessions , Advocacy , campaigns in different countries across the MENA region . It has taken the lead representing Arab Youth in different high level segment, summits and meeting . AYSDN adopts the values of integrity, transparency, and credibility which contribute to the success of its work with other CSOs and INGOs such as FAO, Global Center on Adaptation (GCA) , WIOH Europe Group, UN UESCWA, SDSN, UNESCO,UNMGCY, IYCY, YOUNGO, and many others . AYSDN has a very rich experience working with stakeholders in different sectors.

Partnerships: Building Bridges of Cooperation

The network seeks to build strategic partnerships with local, regional and international institutions to achieve greater impact at the Arab region level. These partnerships include cooperation with:

  • Governmental organizations: such as ministries and national institutions working to achieve the sustainable development goals in areas such as education, health, and gender equality.
  • Non-governmental organizations (NGOs): which provide programs and initiatives that support youth in the fields of entrepreneurship, climate change, and women’s empowerment.
  • The private sector: which is considered a key partner in implementing sustainable development projects by providing financial and technical support.
  • International organizations: such as the United Nations and its specialized programs, such as the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) , Youth Climate Justice Fund and many others .
  • Memberships: A platform for unifying efforts
  • The network includes memberships for a wide range of youth and youth organizations committed to achieving sustainable development. Membership in the network is an opportunity to empower youth through:
    • Training and capacity building: The network offers workshops and training programs aimed at developing youth skills in various development fields.
