The roadmap for people and planet adopted by world leaders in 2015, as the campaign, which comes ahead of a crucial United Nations summit in September at the United Nations headquarters in New York from September 18-19, aims to maximize the urgent call for ambitious new actions that draw attention Adopt the Sustainable Development Goals as the blueprint toward sustainable global prosperity, and galvanize audiences around the world around this collective agenda for our common future.
For the first time in decades, development progress is being held back by the impacts of climate crises, conflict, economic downturn and the spillover effects of COVID-19.
The 2023 SDG Summit will bring together world leaders to reaffirm our collective commitment to the Goals and make promises to leave no one behind.
