Arab Youth Sustainable Development Network (AYSDN) participated in the Sustainability Impact Forum 2023, held for two days in Milan, Italy, and online on June 28 and 29, 2023.
Mr. Musheer Alsharabi, Managing Director, and Mr. Alaa Mustafa, Program Director, represented AYSDN in this forum as speakers in a panel discussion on peacebuilding, who expressed their happiness at participating in this global event.
Mr. Alaa Mustafa stated that such an opportunity reinforces AYSDN’s commitment to promoting dialogue and advocating for peacebuilding and providing a platform for young leaders to carry out impactful activities.
He stressed the importance of youth-led initiatives and the importance of local action in promoting peace and the role of social networking sites and awareness campaigns.
In promoting world peace, and that AYSDN seeks to empower youth as agents of change and catalyze initiatives that have an impact for a more peaceful world.
On his participation in the Sustainability Impact Forum, Mr. Musheer Al-Sharabi added that it was an affirmation that AYSDN is always working to harness dialogues between generations and support youth opportunities towards global thinking to reach a better future, and stressed the importance of the role of youth in changing stereotyped concepts and strengthening the system Modern education linked to the fourth goal of development goals.
Mr. Al-Sharabi also talked about challenges in the field of education and equality in all societies and how to find sustainable solutions to enhance the quality of education and consolidate the concepts of equality, diversity and inclusiveness in societies.
The head of the Arab Youth Sustainable Development Network (AYSDN), Eng. Tariq Hassan, valued his team’s participation in the Sustainability Impact Forum 2023 and expressed the network’s happiness with this international participation, which is among its interests.
It is noteworthy that one of the main objectives of the Sustainability Impact Forum is to create a permanent space for intergenerational dialogue and exchange of ideas between youth, leaders, businessmen, politicians and policy makers, and youth empowerment.
