ARAB YOUTH SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT NETWORK
AYSDN is a youth-led regional network launched among youth professionals and experts from the MENA region working on Sustainable Development Goals. The network aims to develop effective ideas and solutions that enhance the participation of young people and contribute to the promotion of their leading role in the development of societies. AYSDN was first established in 2018 and it had more than 15 regional ambassadors from MENA countries who have implemented online & in-person awareness raising workshops among their local communities. AYSDN keen to assist local government, local and international Organizations, private sectors and to support the United Nations to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in the Arab World as well as educate youth about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and provide practical volunteering opportunities, amongst other activities, to unleash their potential while being an active world citizen, and raising the awareness about climate change issues among youth .
AYSDN is looking for a suitable Volunteer to fill the position of Content Creator:
Contract type: Volunteer One year ( might be extended )

Direct Supervisor: Communication Director
Duty Station: Remotely.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- To assist with creating regular exciting and engaging content for AYSDN.
- To create daily content and to post on social media followed by compilation content.
- To be available to work as an assistant in creating videos surrounding various topics and events throughout the events and through the year.
- To assist in other forms of visual and written content depending on your preferences and skills.
- To assist in developing AYSDN view by creating regular engaging content across all relevant social media channels and the website.
- All work to be done in line with AYSDN policies & procedures and appropriate them.
- Adopt a flexible approach to work hours including evening, weekend and remote working often at short notice
Qualifications and Requirements:
- University Degree in (Social Science- Statistics – IT) or any other relevant field.
- Three -years of Experience at least working within an NGOs /INGOs.
- Advanced computer skills and design programs such as photoshop, Illustrator, Inkscape… etc.
- Strong relationships with media organizations.
- Strong oral and written English skills.
- Ability to think independently and problem-solving.
- Ability to write monitoring and evaluation reports in both Arabic and English
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Honest, hardworking, and committed to community development
- Excellent in using Microsoft including (word, excel, power point and emails).
