Participated in more than 100 interactive workshops, the camp was attended by more than 400 participants from various countries of the world.

The organization of this camp was aimed at building joint relationships, networks and alliances from various sectors and across borders within the climate movement, refining youth skills and forming strategies, tactics, narratives, and symbolic links as pillars of action. Solidarity, in addition to building environmental networks, developing strategies, and defining youth demands in the next COP Conference.

Maram Al-Nabhani, an environmental activist and partnerships officer at the Arab Youth Sustainable Development Network (AYSDN), stated that the outcomes of attending the climate justice camp, in which she was one of the participants, were to enhance opportunities and platforms for learning and communication, and it contributed to shaping her point of view on environmental issues and strengthening her role in the field of environment and climate justice. She added,

This participation has provided me with a better understanding of the challenges and issues that people face in different parts of the world, and I received great inspiration from the participants who told their stories and successful experiences. It stimulated in me the spirit of responsibility and movement towards building a clean and sustainable society, and that I could be part of a larger movement that aims to bring about positive change.

It is worth noting that the Middle East was chosen as a symbolic region to hold the second climate justice camp before the COP 28 climate summit in the UAE, and Lebanon is one of the countries most affected in the MENA region by climate change, as the severity of extreme climate phenomena increases, including annual fires and a rise in climate change.
