A session titled “Synergy and Learning: Innovative Approaches to Climate Education” was held today at the GAUC pavilion in the Green Zone, as part of the COP29 activities.
The session showcased innovative educational solutions to address the challenges of climate change, with a focus on enhancing collaboration and shared learning to achieve broader and more sustainable impacts.
The session featured a distinguished group of experts from international institutions and pioneering initiatives, including Lauren Grant from Beyond Climate Collaborative, and Gabriella Nagli Alivrio from Duke University, along with speakers from leading organizations and institutions in the fields of sustainable development and climate education.
Among the speakers was a representative from the Arab Youth Sustainable Development Network, who shared insights on the role of Arab youth in promoting climate awareness and implementing innovative solutions to achieve the sustainable development goals.
