As part of the project “Enhancing Digital Livelihoods in Rural Taiz: Institutional and Community Capacity Building,” Arab Youth Sustainable Development Network (AYSDN) implemented the Digital Professional Readiness Program for 16 graduates from Al-Ma’afer District during 10–12 January 2026, through three online training sessions.
The program aimed to equip participants with the essential skills needed to enter both traditional and digital labor markets, enhancing their professional readiness through specialized sessions covering professional identity building, personal branding, the use of artificial intelligence tools, and career guidance.
The program featured a group of specialized trainers and experts:
Mr. Abdullah Mohammed Al-Shaarani – Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Development Trainer and Consultant with over 15 years of experience in training and capacity building. He delivered sessions on professional CV writing, building a strong professional identity, and personal branding strategies.
Mr. Bakil Hamed Ali Moqbel – Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, holder of a Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from Google (2022). He serves as Motion Ambassador in Yemen and the Gulf and is the Executive Director of the Artificial Intelligence and Entrepreneurship Center – Yemen Office. He delivered a session on leveraging AI tools to access employment and freelance opportunities.
Mr. Hashem Nasser Al-Qurashi – Project Manager specialized in Project Cycle Management (PCM). He led the career guidance session focusing on identifying career pathways, strengthening institutional capacities, and supporting youth integration into the labor market.
The activities were implemented in partnership with REEF Foundation and Shabab Saba Foundation for Development, in cooperation with UN Women, and with support from the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund.
The Arab Youth Sustainable Development Network reaffirms its ongoing commitment to enhancing youth participation in sustainable development by expanding economic opportunities and empowering young people with digital transformation tools to build a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable future.
