AYSDN concluded the third session of Youth Empowerment Program

Conclusion of the Third Training Session:

“Youth Advocacy Strategies on Environmental Issues – Building Effective Networks and Communication Skills”

On Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, the Arab Youth Sustainable Development Network (AYSDN) successfully concluded the third session of its regional training program under the title:
“Youth Advocacy Strategies on Environmental Issues: Building Effective Networks and Communication Skills”, with an inspiring and enthusiastic participation of 163 youth from across the Arab region.

The session focused on empowering young people with the tools and knowledge needed for effective environmental advocacy, highlighting the importance of building strategic networks with local and international organizations. It also emphasized the role of media and communication in delivering environmental messages that attract community and media support.

The session was moderated by Mr. Mohammed Al-Yatari, Executive Director of AYSDN and member of the UN Youth Climate Negotiators Delegation. He provided valuable insights into how youth can use advocacy to influence environmental policies and lead change within their communities.

The session featured dynamic discussions and the exchange of ideas and initiatives, with participants reaffirming that “an aware voice creates change”, especially in a time of growing threats to our planet.

This session is part of a broader training series organized by the network throughout the Year of Impact 2025, aimed at preparing a conscious and influential generation of Arab youth in the fields of sustainability and climate action.
