Within awareness campaigns carried out by the Arab Youth Sustainable Development Network (AYSDN) about the importance of reducing food waste, AYSDN Pathways Team launched a field youth initiative on Tuesday, 4/18/2023, to break the fast for fasting passers-by and those arriving late to their homes. In Gaza Strip in Palestine, the initiative carried the motto “Your Breakfast Is On Us” and included the distribution of dates and water to citizens.
This community initiative was widely accepted by people who praised it and those in charge of it, and stressed the importance of preserving food and reducing waste, especially during the month of Ramadan.
