The Arab Youth Sustainable Development Network participates in the Political Forum on Sustainable Development 2023 in New York
The work of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development 2023, convened by the United Nations, was launched from 10 to 19 July 2023 in New York City. The forum focuses on assessing efforts to achieve the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, during which countries review their achievements by submitting voluntary national reports, which show the extent of achievement towards achieving the goals.
This year’s session of the high-level political forum is being held under the theme “Accelerating recovery from COVID-19 and fully implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at all levels.”
The Arab Youth Sustainable Development Network (AYSDN) participated in the forum, represented by its president, Eng. Tariq Hassan, and this participation comes within the objectives of the network and to enhance its presence in international conferences and forums, especially the qualitative and effective ones.
It is noteworthy that the United Nations has held this forum every year since 2015 under the supervision of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
